Building the Collection Hub Without Inventing Fake Collections
Two of the requested example collections โ Seasonal and Event โ don't have any real content behind them yet. Here's the approach we took rather than fabricating cards that don't exist.
The five collection types we could build honestly
Most of the Collection Hub practically built itself from data we already had: seven rarity collections straight from the game's rarity list, fifteen thematic collections computed dynamically from every card's real category field, three pack collections derived from actual pack drop-rate tables, and one business-synergy collection covering every card that mechanically reduces business costs.
The two we couldn't
Seasonal Collection and Event Collection were different. Tycoon Cards has no seasonal content system and no event system โ nothing to filter, count, or link to. Inventing a fake "Winter Frost" seasonal card set purely to fill out the template would have meant shipping fiction dressed up as a reference page.
The honest middle ground
Both collections exist as real pages at /collections/planned-seasonal and /collections/planned-event, clearly labelled as planned features. They explain what the eventual collection would contain conceptually, without pretending it already does, and link straight to the roadmap entry that tracks real progress.
The payoff
This mirrors exactly what we did for card Evolution and Fusion, and for the business Research Tree โ a consistent site-wide rule now: if it's not built, we say so, and we link to where you can verify that for yourself.
Developer Commentary
๐๏ธ From the team:We could have quietly skipped Seasonal and Event collections entirely and nobody would have noticed. Publishing honest placeholder pages instead means players can see exactly what's coming and when, rather than wondering why a requested feature is simply missing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why include placeholder pages at all instead of just leaving them out?

Why include placeholder pages at all instead of just leaving them out?
+So the full Collection Hub structure is visible and honest from day one โ players and search engines can see the full scope of collections, including what's still in development, rather than the site appearing incomplete without explanation.
How will we know when Seasonal or Event collections go live?
