Accessibility Statement

Last updated: January 2026

Tycoon Cards is committed to making our website and game usable for as many people as possible, regardless of disability or assistive technology.

Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where it is practical to do so for a browser game.

What we do

  • Use semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy (H1โ€“H4).
  • Maintain sufficient colour contrast across the interface.
  • Ensure all interactive elements are keyboard-reachable.
  • Provide visible focus states on buttons and links.
  • Design a mobile-first interface that reflows on any screen size.
  • Support system-level text-size adjustments.

Known limitations

Because Tycoon Cards is an interactive game with animated feedback, some purely visual effects (floating numbers, screen shake, card flips) may be harder to interpret using a screen reader. We are exploring additional ARIA labels and reduced-motion support.

Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us via the contact form. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will work to resolve barriers promptly.
