Floating Upgrades Explained

Random bonus events that appear on screen for a limited time โ€” click them fast for a temporary multiplier or an instant reward.

What are floating upgrades?

At random intervals while you play, a glowing icon appears somewhere on screen with a shrinking countdown ring around it. Clicking it before it disappears grants either a temporary multiplier buff or an instant one-time reward. Missing it costs you nothing โ€” it's a pure bonus opportunity, never a penalty.

How often they appear

A new floating upgrade spawns randomly between 1 and 3 minutes after the last one is claimed or expires, and stays visible for 16 seconds once it appears.

Buff rewards vs instant rewards

Buff rewards (Click Frenzy, Money Rush, Golden Touch) apply a temporary multiplier to click power, passive income, or both, lasting 60โ€“90 seconds. Instant rewards (Cash Windfall, Free Packs, Lucky Pull, Divine Blessing) apply immediately and permanently โ€” free money or cards added straight to your account.

How long you have to click them

The countdown ring visually shrinks over the full 16-second window. Once it fully depletes, the upgrade vanishes and the next one is scheduled to appear later.

What happens if you miss one

Nothing bad. Floating upgrades are a bonus system with zero downside for missing them โ€” think of every successful click as pure upside on top of your normal progress.

Tips for catching them while multitasking

  • Keep the game tab visible in a corner of your screen if you're doing other work.
  • The pulsing glow and countdown ring make them easy to spot peripherally.
  • Because there's no penalty for missing one, don't stress about catching every single one โ€” just click when you notice it.

Frequently asked questions

Do floating upgrade buffs stack with each other?

+

Yes, if you manage to claim a second buff of a different stat type while one is already active, both apply simultaneously โ€” though only one instance of the same buff can be active at once.

Is there a penalty for missing a floating upgrade?

+

None at all. If you don't click it in time, it simply disappears and a new one is scheduled to appear later. There's no cost to missing one.

Can two floating upgrades appear at the same time?

+

No. Only one floating upgrade is ever on screen at a time โ€” a new one is only scheduled after the current one is claimed or expires.

Do floating upgrade rewards scale with prestige?

+

Buff rewards (like Click Frenzy) apply as a multiplier on top of your existing prestige-scaled income, so their absolute value scales naturally with your progress. Instant cash rewards similarly scale off your current income.

What's the rarest floating upgrade?

+

Divine Blessing, which guarantees a Divine-rarity card โ€” the single rarest possible reward, appearing far less often than any other floating upgrade type.
