Click Power Explained
Every tap matters. Here's exactly how click power is calculated, when upgrading it stops paying off, and how cards and buffs multiply your taps.
What is click power?
Click power is the amount of money you earn every time you tap the golden coin on the main screen. It starts at $1 and grows through three independent sources: click level upgrades, card bonuses, and your prestige multiplier.
The click power formula
The game calculates your current click power as:
clickPower = (base + clickLevel) ร (1 + clickBonus + globalBonus) ร prestigeMultiplier
baseis a fixed $1.clickLevelincreases by 1 per upgrade purchased.clickBonusis the sum of every owned card's click-type bonus, scaled by level.globalBonusis the sum of every "all income" card bonus โ these apply to click power and passive income simultaneously.prestigeMultiplieris 1 + (0.02 ร your prestige points), applied last.
Click upgrade cost curve
Each click upgrade costs more than the last, growing at 18% per level:
| Click level | Approximate cost |
|---|---|
| 1 | $59 |
| 5 | $114 |
| 10 | $261 |
| 20 | $1.37K |
| 30 | $7.17K |
| 50 | $196K |
How cards boost clicking
Two card bonus types affect click power: dedicated click cards (like Lucky Penny or Diamond Ring) and all-income cards (like Golden Crown or Cosmic Vault) which boost everything at once. Because all-income cards also multiply your passive income and scale with prestige, they are generally the better long-term investment โ see the Card Tier List for a full breakdown.
How floating upgrades boost clicking
The random floating bonus event can occasionally grant a temporary "Click Frenzy" buff โ a 7ร click power multiplier lasting 60 seconds. This stacks on top of your permanent bonuses, so it's the perfect moment to click as fast as possible. Read the full Floating Upgrades Guide for every possible reward.
When to stop buying click upgrades
Common mistakes
- Over-investing in click upgrades once passive income dominates your earnings.
- Ignoring all-income cards in favour of click-only cards, missing out on the passive-income half of the bonus.
- Not clicking during a Click Frenzy floating upgrade โ it's the single highest click-power moment in the game.
