Card Collection Strategy

A data-driven plan for completing the 1,000-card archive across all seven rarities.

With 1,000 cards spread across seven rarities, completing the Tycoon Cards collection is a significant undertaking. But it is not a matter of luck โ€” it is a matter of strategy. The right pack at the right time can save you billions of dollars and weeks of passive earnings.

This guide draws on the live drop-rate data from the game's source code to show you exactly how to plan your collection completion efficiently.

Starter Packs are cheap enough to buy in bulk. At $500 per pack, even a modest mid-game income can afford dozens per minute. Premium Packs cost 150 times more but offer five times better odds for rare cards and above. Elite Vaults are a luxury for late-game players earning millions per second.

Phase one: commons and uncommons

Buy Starter Packs aggressively. With 500+ common and uncommon cards in the archive, you need volume โ€” and Starter Packs are the most voluminous source.

A Starter Pack costs $500 and delivers three cards at roughly 92% common or uncommon probability combined. At an income of $10,000 per second, you can afford 20 Starter Packs per second โ€” 60 cards. Even accounting for duplicates, you should acquire 80โ€“90% of all commons and uncommons within your first few hours of mid-game play.

Tip: Use the MAX buy button for businesses and redirect all surplus income into Starter Packs. Once commons are nearly complete, switch to Premium Packs.

Phase two: rares and epics

Premium Packs become optimal when the probability of pulling a new common or uncommon card drops below roughly 20%. At that point the $75,000 cost is justified by the improved rare and epic odds.

At 18% rare and 6.5% epic probability per card, a Premium Pack delivers approximately 0.7 rare-or-better cards per pack on average. With 260 rare and 100 epic cards in the archive, expect to open roughly 500โ€“700 Premium Packs to complete these tiers.

Phase three: Legendaries, Mythics and Divines

Elite Vaults are the only efficient source for these rarities. At $12 million per pack with five cards and no commons, every card has a genuine chance of being legendary or better.

The drop-rate odds for an Elite Vault are approximately: 9% legendary, 3.4% mythic and 0.6% divine. Across 100 Elite Vaults (500 cards), expect roughly 45 legendary cards, 17 mythic cards and 3 divine cards. Completing all 82 legendary cards and all 50 mythic-plus cards is a multi-prestige endeavour.

Duplicate combine strategy

The combine system lets you spend spare copies to level up a card. The cost is equal to the card's current level โ€” so going from level 1 to 2 costs 1 copy, 2 to 3 costs 2 copies, and so on.

Our recommended priorities:

  1. Cost-reduction commons first. Even at +1% per level, the compounding effect of cheaper businesses across every run is enormous.
  2. All-income cards next. They scale multiplicatively with prestige.
  3. High-rarity cards you use. A single Divine card at level 2 (+100% global) is worth more than twenty common cards at level 5.

Use double-click to combine as many levels as possible in one action โ€” it saves time and avoids the frustration of clicking combine repeatedly.

Frequently asked questions

Should I keep opening Starter Packs after I have all commons?

+

No. Once your chance of pulling a new common drops below roughly 5% per pack, Premium Packs are more efficient. You will still occasionally pull commons from Premium Packs, but the rare and epic cards you need will come faster.

What is the fastest way to complete the collection?

+

The three-phase strategy above is optimal. Additionally, prestige frequently with strong card bonuses to accelerate your income, which allows you to afford more packs per run. There is no shortcut โ€” the archive rewards consistent play.

Do Elite Vaults guarantee at least one rare?

+

Elite Vaults contain no commons by design. Every card is uncommon or better, with roughly 35% rare, 22% epic and 13% legendary or above. You will never see a common card in an Elite Vault.
